Ídolo do Vasco e presidente do clube entre 2008 e 2014, Roberto Dinamite disse que a indefinição na eleição presidencial prejudica o Cruz-Maltino. Segundo ele, com isso o clima na instituição não fica tranquilo e essa questão pode até afetar dentro de campo.

– É muito ruim para o Vasco, para a instituição. Gera uma intranquilidade. Você não sabe se as contratações que estão sendo feitas, caso se confirme a vitória da outra chapa, vão continuar. Esta indefinição é ruim num aspecto até técnico para o técnico e para os jogadores. Acho que essa definição precisa acontecer o mais rápido possível – disse Dinamite.

Para Dinamite, o vencedor da eleição é Julio Brant. Inclusive, ele já considera Eurico Miranda como ex-presidente (vale lembrar que o mandato dele só termina no dia 16 de janeiro. Com a última decisão da Justiça, a urna 7 da eleição foi anulada. Com isso, a chapa de Brant é considerada vencedora do pleito.

-Acho que o resultado das urnas confirmou a derrota do ex-presidente, que para mim já é ex, o atual já é o outro. Espero que se confirme isso. Temos que fazer as coisas certas, corretas. Acho que o Vasco precisa disso, o torcedor merece esse respeito. O Julio, sem aquela urna 7, ganhou a eleição – comentou.

Questionado qual seria o cenário que Brant encontrará caso sua vitória seja ratificada pela Justiça, Dinamite comparou o ambiente do clube como a política brasileira. Ele disse que fica muito difícil administrar com dívidas de administrações passadas.

– Essa coisa de clube é muito parecida com a política brasileira. Quando entra, você tem um passivo que você tem que cumprir, porque você é o presidente e tem que responder. Quando você sai, também deixa alguma coisa às vezes. O que se precisa dentro do clube, falando especificamente do Vasco, tem que tentar equilibrar as suas finanças. Eu quando fui presidente, entrei em 2008, tive que pagar contas de 2000. É uma situação que complica. Se fosse administrar só o meu período, eu teria como. Porque o Vasco estava há 10 anos sem patrocínio e nós conseguimos. Quando fui assinar o contrato com o patrocinador, tinha uma dívida anterior – afirmou o ex-jogador, que completou.

– Acho que tem que ser dado uma continuidade de uma administração clara, que busque não só pagar as dívidas, mas buscar parceiros. Para isso é preciso pessoas novas e por isso torço para que isso aconteça.

Se nada mudar nos tribunais, a chapa de Brant é favorita para vencer o pleito do Conselho Deliberativo, que deve acontecer no dia 15 de janeiro, e ser eleito novo presidente do Vasco.

أكد وائل رياض المدرب العام لمنتخب مصر الأولمبي، أن هناك عوامل أثرت على أداء الفريق أمام إيسواتيني في التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس أمم إفريقيا تحت 23 عامًا.

ونجح منتخب مصر في الفوز على إيسواتيني بهدف وحيد ذهابًا وإيابًا، وتأهل لمواجهة منتخب زامبيا في المرحلة الأخيرة من التصفيات الأفريقية.

وقال وائل رياض في تصريحات إذاعية عبر أثير راديو “ميجا إف أم”: “المدير الفني جيد للغاية ويعمل بشكل قوي، ويحب أن يصنع إنجازًا مع الكرة المصرية، وهو دائما يشعر بالاستياء بسبب عدم التدريب بشكل مستمر لأنه لا توجد أجندات أو توقفات دولية كثيرة”.

وتابع: “نحن تجمعنا في بداية شهر سبتمبر، وبعد ذلك تدربنا وتعرفنا على اللاعبين، وفي النصف الثاني من الشهر خضنا مباراتين أمام بنين، وبعد ذلك خضنا المباراة الرسمية في شهر أكتوبر الحالي، ولم يكن أمامنا متسع من الوقت، من أجل تطبيق فكر المدير الفني”.

وأردف: “اللاعبون طبقوا فكره بنسبة 65%، نحن نحتاج أن نجلس مدة أكثر، ونعمل بشكل أكبر، واللاعبون لم يأخذوا فرصهم الكاملة في الفريق الأول، وهذا الأمر من ضمن العوامل السلبية التي أثرت على الأداء”.

وأكمل: “الأساسي هو حسام عبد المجيد مع فريقه، ولكن باقي اللاعبين ليسوا مستقرين، نحن لدينا أجندة في شهر نوفمبر، ثم في شهر مارس المقبل، وأتمنى أن يلعب مواليد 2001 مع أنديتهم، لأنني أحتاج للاعبين أن يكونوا جاهزين”.

وتابع: “بعض الأشخاص تحدثوا معي بشأن الأداء أمام إيسواتيني، ولكن القصة ليست فقط في هذه المباراة، وإنما نحن لدينا مشاكل في أن هؤلاء اللاعبين لم ينسجموا مع بعضهم، ولم نتجمع كثيرًا، ولم يحصلوا على خبرات الفرق الأفريقية”.

وزاد: “هذا الجيل يمر بتحديات صعبة وسوء حظ، ونحن نلعب تحت شعار أن الفوز أهم من الأداء في هذه الفترة، لأن لو كنا تعرضنا للهزيمة لم يكن هناك منتخب أولمبي”.

وواصل: “أعتقد أنه في شهر مارس توقعاتي أنه سيكون لنا شكل أفضل لو اللاعبين لعبوا بشكل منتظم أكثر مع انتظام بطولة الدوري”.

وعن مباراة زامبيا قال: “نحن كجهاز فني جلبنا المباراتين اللتين خاضتهما زامبيا مع سيراليون، وسنبدأ في دراسة الفريق ومشاهدته، ولكن بالتأكيد زامبيا اسم أكبر من إيسواتيني، ونحن أبطال أفريقيا عام 2019، وبالطبع يعملون لنا حساب، ونحن نحترمهم أيضًا وسنعمل بشكل جيد لأن ليس أمامنا فرصة للذهاب إلى المغرب سوى بمواجهة زامبيا”.

وعن الفرق بين منتخب شوقي غريب ومنتخب ميكالي قال: “الفرق كبير، لم أشكو أبدا أن اللاعبين لم يخوضوا مباريات مع أنديتهم، كانت مشكلتي مع أحمد ياسر ريان، وقلنا له لا بد أن تلعب مع الفريق وبالفعل اتخذ قرار سليم قبل الأولمبياد، ورحل إلى سيراميكا كليوباترا من أجل المشاركة، وأصبح الهداف الأساسي”.

وأختتم: “اللاعبون كانوا لديهم جاهزية كبيرة للغاية، وكنا حينها نعمل في المعسكر على تكيتك المباراة، لأنهم كانوا جاهزين بدنيًا وفنيًا”.

Everton have made a “concrete” enquiry to sign Juventus star Dejan Kulusevski in this January transfer window.

What’s the story?

The Toffees might be without a permanent manager currently following Rafa Benitez’s sacking, but it appears they are still trying to make moves in terms of their recruitment.

And, according to Romeo Agresti, the Merseyside club have got their sights set on Sweden international Kulusevski.

Speaking on Goal Italia’s Twitch channel, the journalist said: “Everton made a more concrete survey for Kulusevski. But Juventus did not receive any offers.”

Huge upgrade on Iwobi

Amid all the chaos and confusion surrounding who Everton will be looking to appoint as their new manager, bringing in Kulusevski would be an unqualified success that Toffees fans would absolutely get behind.

Described as “explosive” by former Villa and Sweden striker Marcus Allback, he also added: “He likes to challenge his direct opponent. He likes to dribble with the ball, play the short passes and he is very good on the through balls. He’s quick and would cause a lot of trouble for most of the teams he plays.

In fact, while Toffees fans might be sick of the sight of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, they could find themselves getting their own version of the Egyptian in Kulusevski.

Italian coach Pierpaolo Bisoli once claimed: “He has incredible physical strength. He reminds me of a young Salah for the way he shakes off opponents in the first ten metres.”

Crucially, Kulusevski is a significant upgrade on what Everton have already got in Alex Iwobi, who quite frankly, has been a very disappointing signing since his own big-money arrival from fellow Premier League side Arsenal.

The Nigeria international has managed just six goals and five assists in 80 Premier League games for the Toffees, while his start to the current campaign has been similarly underwhelming to say the least – just the three goal contributions in total.

That lack of end product is not something Kulusevski struggles with however, with the Swede a real threat with his directness and quality.

Last season saw him score seven goals and provide another seven assists in all competitions for Juventus – a real indication of how he is very much at home at such a high level for someone who remains only 21 (four years younger than Iwobi).

As per Whoscored, Kulusevski also averages far more shots, dribbles and key passes per game over his career, and unlike Iwobi has broken into double-figures for goals in a season before – the Swede has also managed more assists than the Everton man in a single campaign too.

The £27m-rated star would be the kind of signing that would get Goodison Park rocking.

Leeds United and Newcastle United are both monitoring Lens midfielder Seko Fofana, according to The Daily Mail.

The Lowdown: Fofana profiled

Fofana, labelled as a ‘phenom’ by journalist Zach Lowy, is 26 years of age and can play as a defensive, central or attacking midfielder.

The Ivory Coast international wasn’t selected for the Africa Cup of Nations despite scoring seven goals for his club already this season.

A former Manchester City youngster, Fofana is under contract until 2024 but picks up just £20,000-a-week, less than the likes of Leeds youngsters Pascal Struijk and Tyler Roberts.

The Latest: Leeds join race

The Daily Mail shared a story after midnight on Wednesday evening, revealing that Burnley have held talks over a move for Fofana.

The report then added that both Leeds and Newcastle are monitoring the Ivorian, with the French side possibly willing to sell this month.

Leeds are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements, and landing Fofana ahead of their relegation rivals could be a shrewd move.

He is at the absolute top of his game with a career-high £16.2m Transfermarkt valuation and seems to be impressing in Ligue 1, with Lowy gushing over the ‘domination’ of the PSG midfield when Fofana scored in a 1-1 draw last month.

The rising star would also be able to play in three different midfield roles at Elland Road, which could be crucial between now and the end of the season with the Whites short on numbers.

Andrea Radrizzani may find it tough to pip big-money Newcastle, should the Magpies firm up their interest, but if they don’t, then they may look to secure the Ivorian ahead of Burnley in what could be a wise deal.

As mudanças seguem a todo vapor no Atlético-MG. Após anunciar a saída de André Figueiredo da direção das categorias de base, Diogo Giacomini e Frederico Cascardo também foram desligados do clube. A intenção do clube é substituir os três funcionários por nomes de confiança do novo diretor de futebol profissional Alexandre Gallo.

A expectativa é de que o ex-atacante Marques assuma a direção de futebol das categorias de base. Ele se reunirá com a diretoria atleticana na tarde desta quarta-feira, mas sua contratação ainda não está certa. O clube também estaria analisando Bebeto, que foi membro administrativo do Galo em 2002 e 2009.

Diogo Giacomini foi parte do Atlético-MG durante aproximadamente nove anos. Em suas duas passagens pelo clube, ele foi técnico das equipes sub-17 e sub-20 e comandou o time profissional em oito jogos antes de ser promovido a coordenador metodológico da base, onde ficou até ser demitido. Em conversa com o Superesportes, o dirigente confirmou sua saída do clube, mas revelou que tem sido procurado por outros clubes.

– Fui informado de que a nova diretoria vai trabalhar com a equipe de trabalho deles. O Atlético alavancou minha carreira. Foram, no total, dez títulos: nove na base e o Campeonato Mineiro profissional este ano. Foram muitos jogadores com grandes vendas. Saio extremamente satisfeito. Agradeço muito, ao clube, à torcida. VOLTA AOS TREINOS

Após dois dias de descanso, o Atlético-MG retornou aos treinos nesta quarta-feira, visando a partida contra o Corinthians, marcada para às 17h deste domingo, no Itaquerão. Oswaldo de Oliveira, que chegou atrasado, dividiu a atividade em duas partes. Na primeira, apenas jogadores reservas ou que atuaram pouco tempo na vitória estiveram em campo. Os titulares só trabalharam na segunda etapa.

O técnico só comandou a última parte do treino, por conta do atraso no voo de volta do Rio de Janeiro. Na primeira parte, os atletas realizaram um treino tático de posse de bola e transição. Os jogadores, organizados em três grupos de quatro atletas, tinham a função de passar a marcação para alcançar o gol.

Os titulares também seguiram com o trabalho tático. Com a presença do técnico Oswaldo de Oliveira, os jogadores iniciavam a jogada no meio-campo ao lado dos zagueiros até o ataque. O time principal foi formado por Marcos Rocha, Leonardo Silva, Gabriel e Fábio Santos; Yago e Elias; Otero, Robinho e Valdívia; Fred.

A equipe volta aos treinos nesta quinta-feira e Oswaldo deve começar a esboçar o time que enfrentará o campeão Corinthians no domingo. A expectativa é de que Adilson, fora do duelo contra o Coritiba, retorne na vaga de Yago.

The double-century continued to elude Jacques Kallis but not Hashim Amla, who accumulated his way to the highest Test score by a South African in India. He also provided solidity from the other end as AB de Villiers played havoc with the spinners’ lengths during a 108-run partnership that followed the 340-run stand between Kallis and Amla, the fifth-highest association in India. On a pitch behaving like it was a fourth-day track, it seemed a formidable total.Amla’s was an incredibly disciplined effort. He didn’t hit anything in the air. Once Kallis was done with his onslaught on the first day, there were no periods of quiet or a loud burst from Amla, still managing a 50-plus strike-rate. Today he scored 55, 45 and 38 in the three sessions, a third of which featured 25 minutes fewer, and never frustrated the other batsmen by hogging the strike. He faced 473 deliveries and the batsmen after him got 556 in all. It needed all the discipline from Amla because the pitch offered Harbhajan Singh and Amit Mishra ample assistance.Which is what will disappoint India more than the score. Mishra bowled 53 overs for no wicket – only five Indian spinners have managed worse. Harbhajan managed just one maiden in 46 overs, which rightly suggested there was not enough pressure created on a helpful pitch.Wicket-taking opportunities were in short supply, and half of them not taken. When Mishra beat the bat, he beat it by six inches and upwards, the wrong’un was underused, when he had Kallis plumb the umpire didn’t trust the slider to hold its line, and when de Villiers played around with his length, Mishra bowled long hops.Harbhajan had to deal with batsmen moving back and across outside off, negating the lbw, closing the bat-pad gap, and working him around for singles. When he went round the stumps and created opportunities, M Vijay and MS Dhoni dropped Amla in one over when on 149.The Kallis lbw miss didn’t hurt India much. In the next over Harbhajan got him to bat-pad one, something that had looked inevitable on the second morning, the 11th time that Kallis had started on 100-plus overnight but failed to go onto 200. The double-century seemed to be on his mind as he looked comfortable in the middle, but wasn’t in a run-scoring mode. His first run came in the ninth over of the day and he added only 14 off 61 deliveries. Had Kallis been scoring quickly, he wouldn’t have had a slip, a forward short leg and a leg slip waiting.Amla didn’t have those problems, though. He got the testing Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma out of his face by hitting three boundaries in two overs: two pulls and one off-drive. The third of the boundaries took him into the 140s when his first testing moment came.Free runs were not on offer while the ball was turning, and Amla managed only six in the first six overs of spin. Then he tried to step out to Harbhajan – bowling round the stumps – was beaten by the dip, got an inside edge that Vijay dropped at forward short leg. The next delivery he looked to glance, but the big spin took the edge that Dhoni failed to catch down the leg side. His 150 reached, Amla was solid again.Amla could continue playing his natural game, taking singles and punishing the loose deliveries, because de Villiers came out full of intent. He played almost every other delivery about four yards down the wicket. Before India knew, Mishra had dragged a few deliveries short because of the jumping around, had been pulled for three boundaries down the ground, de Villiers had reached 33 off 52, and Amla was in the 180s.Amla then pulled out the reverse-sweep against Harbhajan. In the 190s, signs of anxiety were there. He followed an offbreak into his pads, and hit it between keeper and leg slip. Then he spent eight deliveries on 199, but he came down the track and played a lovely cover-drive against Virender Sehwag to bring up the milestone.That cover-drive, having stepped out to the bowler, was the standout shot of an innings that was so remarkably even you’d be struggle to pick a favourite area or favourite shot in.
