Depois de prestar seu depoimento na Cidade da Polícia, na Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro, o presidente Pedro Abad conversou com a imprensa no local sobre a Operação Limpidus, que investiga a relação entre clubes do Rio de Janeiro e torcidas organizadas. O mandatário admitiu que o Fluminense fez um acordo com as organizadas do clube para o repasse de um “pequeno número” de ingressos, em torno de 200, até o fim do ano, mas disse não ter conhecimento de outro destino das entradas – no caso, a cambistas para venda das mesmas.

-Em setembro, após o jogo contra o Grêmio, o clube estava em uma situação complicada, nós chamamos torcedores de todas organizadas e criamos um pacto de união de todas elas em prol do time. Então as organizadas colocaram que estava muito difícil levar os torcedores para tocar bateria, levar as faixas, e nós nos propusemos em ajudá-los com a quantidade bastante pequena de ingressos para que os próprios membros das torcidas pudessem entrar – afirmou Pedro Abad, antes de seguir afirmando que esta decisão foi tomada visando melhores resultados do time atuando em casa, no Maracanã:

-O Fluminense nunca teve nenhum conhecimento de os ingressos serem repassados ou terem destinação diferente. E, de fato, como pode se constatar, a torcida se concentrou no mesmo lugar, com uma bateria só, e teve o efeito (positivo dentro de campo) – afirmou o presidente do clube das Laranjeiras.

A Operação Limpidus,realizada pela Polícia Civil em conjunto com o Ministério Público e com Juizado Especial do Torcedor, prendeu três membros de torcidas organizadas do Fluminense na manhã desta sexta-feira:Manuel de Oliveira Menezes (presidente da Young Flu), Luiz Carlos Torres Júnior, (vice-presidente da Young Flu), e Ricardo Alexandre Alves, o Pará (presidente da Força Flu). Carlos Alberto de Almeida (presidente da Fiel Tricolor) ainda é procurado.

A relação entre os clubes e torcidas organizadas é o alvo da investigação da Operação Limpidus. Algumas das organizadas em questão estão banidas dos estádios pela Justiça, caso da Fúria Jovem do Botafogo e Força Jovem do Vasco.

Acompanhado pela advogada do clube Roberta Fernandes e outros advogados, Pedro Abad chegou à Cidade da Polícia por volta das 11h30 e só deixou o local depois das 16h. Segundo o presidente, a condução coercitiva não foi executada e ele se apresentou à Polícia Civil de maneira voluntária e espontânea.

Abad ainda disse que, desde o início de sua gestão, vem sofrendo críticas e até ameaças por ter cortado o apoio institucional as torcidas organizadas. Além disso, afirmou que, caso chegasse ao conhecimento do clube que os ingressos cedidos estavam sendo utilizados de maneira diferente da acordada entre a diretoria e os membros das organizadas na reunião, medidas seriam tomadas.

-O Fluminense tem a presunção de que as pessoas são honestas. Não adianta pressupor que as pessoas com quem estamos nos relacionando são desonestas. Se a gente tivesse conhecimento do que estava acontecendo, iríamos apurar e eventualmente tomar alguma medida – concluiu o presidente.

Eurico Brandão, vice de futebol do Vasco, e Anderson Simões, vice de estádios do Botafogo, também foram à Cidade da Polícia prestar esclarecimentos.

ABAD É ALVO CONSTANTE DE PROTESTOSDA TORCIDA

Com os resultados ruins na temporada, o presidente Pedro Abad é o principal alvo dos protestos da torcida do Fluminense no ano. Além do mandatário, o grupo político Flusócio, que apoiou Abad, candidato da situação na eleição realizada em novembro de 2016, é constantemente atacado nas manifestações dos torcedores – independente de serem membros de organizadas ou não.

Em setembro, Abad reuniu-se com representantes das principais torcidas organizadas do clube na Sede das Laranjeiras. Neste ocasião, o presidente aceitou e promoveu o encontro dos torcedores com representantes do elenco – além do acordo pelos ingressos até o fim do Campeonato Brasileiro. Em 10 de outubro, o zagueiro Henrique, o atacante Henrique Dourado e o gerente de futebol Alexandre Torres receberam as organizadas no CT Pedro Antonio.

Na noite de terça-feira, dia 28 de novembro, cerca de 50 torcedores fizeram um protesto nas Laranjeiras. A manifestação pacífica questionou a diretoria com cartazes e gritos. As mensagens de ‘diretoria omissa’, ‘gestão amadora’ e ‘promessas mentirosas’ atacaram a presidência e a gestão de Pedro Abad.

Leeds United and Newcastle United are both monitoring Lens midfielder Seko Fofana, according to The Daily Mail.

The Lowdown: Fofana profiled

Fofana, labelled as a ‘phenom’ by journalist Zach Lowy, is 26 years of age and can play as a defensive, central or attacking midfielder.

The Ivory Coast international wasn’t selected for the Africa Cup of Nations despite scoring seven goals for his club already this season.

A former Manchester City youngster, Fofana is under contract until 2024 but picks up just £20,000-a-week, less than the likes of Leeds youngsters Pascal Struijk and Tyler Roberts.

The Latest: Leeds join race

The Daily Mail shared a story after midnight on Wednesday evening, revealing that Burnley have held talks over a move for Fofana.

The report then added that both Leeds and Newcastle are monitoring the Ivorian, with the French side possibly willing to sell this month.

The Verdict: Sign

Leeds are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements, and landing Fofana ahead of their relegation rivals could be a shrewd move.

He is at the absolute top of his game with a career-high £16.2m Transfermarkt valuation and seems to be impressing in Ligue 1, with Lowy gushing over the ‘domination’ of the PSG midfield when Fofana scored in a 1-1 draw last month.

The rising star would also be able to play in three different midfield roles at Elland Road, which could be crucial between now and the end of the season with the Whites short on numbers.

Andrea Radrizzani may find it tough to pip big-money Newcastle, should the Magpies firm up their interest, but if they don’t, then they may look to secure the Ivorian ahead of Burnley in what could be a wise deal.

What’s the word?

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky Sports News that both Spurs manager Antonio Conte and sporting director Fabio Paratici, who signed the Sweden international at Juventus, are huge admirers of the 21-year-old.

“I know that Antonio and Fabio Paratici they like Kulusevski,” he said live on ‘The Transfer Show’. “He’s a Juventus player that Fabio got at Juventus, bought him from Atalanta, it’s not easy, but he is one of the names.”

Meanwhile, journalist Pete O’Rourke believes the Serie A giants would be open to letting the 21-year-old leave this month.

“They would be open to possibly selling him or maybe consider a loan with an option to buy in the summer,” he told GIVEMESPORT. “And he can play anywhere across the front three. A talented player, Swedish International.”

Conte’s new Eden Hazard?

Indeed, that versatility to play pretty much anywhere up front is certainly an attractive prospect and is perhaps why Conte is said to be keen on signing him this month.

Kulusevski has struggled for minutes in Turin since the re-appointment of Massimiliano Allegri, featuring for only 733 minutes across 22 appearances in both Serie A and the Champions League this season.

However, it was only last season that he delivered seven goals and seven assists for the Old Lady, and he did so featuring in seven different roles.

Such form led to praise from former Villa and Sweden striker Marcus Allback, who told The Sun: “Kulusevski is an explosive player who likes to challenge his direct opponent. He likes to dribble with the ball, play the short passes and he is very good on the through balls. He’s quick and would cause a lot of trouble for most of the teams he plays.”

Meanwhile, his playing style has been likened to that of Liverpool superstar Mo Salah. Italian coach Pierpaolo Bisoli once claimed: “He has incredible physical strength. He reminds me of a young Salah for the way he shakes off opponents in the first ten metres.”

As such, he could earn some further comparisons to that of Eden Hazard, a player whom Conte has managed to great success before. The Belgian, now at Real Madrid, provided 34 goals and 21 assists in 94 appearances under the Italian.

“Even after a week I think I had progressed with him,” the winger once said of Conte.

Given Kulusevski’s ability, he could well emerge as a Hazard-like figure in this Spurs side, so Paratici and co must do all in their power to seal a move for the £27m-rated dynamo before the January 31st deadline.

O presidente do Vasco, Eurico Miranda, comentou sobre o inquérito aberto na Delegacia de Defraudações da Polícia Civil do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, pela delegada Patrícia de Paiva Aguiar, para apurar possíveis irregularidades na eleição do Cruz-Maltino. Intimado para presta esclarecimentos nesta quarta-feira, o mandatário disse que entregou tudo que foi solicitado e nem sabe o motivo de ter sido chamado para depor. Ele também contestou o fato de Patrícia ter convocado uma coletiva para falar do caso que estaria sob sigilo.

-Tenho muito tempo nisso. Não me lembro de ver uma coletiva dizendo que tem um inquérito, indícios… Nem sabemos que denúncia é. Irregularidades, que eu estaria sendo convocado… Não sei o motivo de ser convocado. Prestar esclarecimento sobre o quê? Não sei. Esse inquérito estaria sob sigilo. E ela vai e convoca coletiva – rebateu Eurico, em coletiva de imprensa nesta segunda-feira, estranhando que isso tenha acontecido justamento no dia em que a Justiça negou a perícia em um HD do clube com os dados de sócios.

-Tinha um julgamento hoje sobre um HD que tinha sido apreendido de forma irregular, era uma prova ilícita. Não podia ter outra decisão que não fosse a que tivemos hoje. Aí no mesmo dia temos uma entrevista de uma delegada de polícia – completou.

O presidente reclamou que em uma semana decisiva para o time na briga pela Libertadores (o Vasco depende só de suas forças contra a Ponte), o assunto que toma o noticiário seja a política do clube. Ele questionou os interesses por trás disso.

-Precisamos de explicações sobre o que está acontecendo. Lá atrás falamos que o objetivo era Libertadores, e 99% achavam que era bravata. Com todas as dificuldades que atravessamos, o Vasco está perto da Libertadores. E nessa semana decisiva o assunto não é esse. O assunto é outro. Não sei o motivo, os interesses – disse o dirigente, alegando que isso tem como objetivo atrapalhar os planos do Vasco.

– Essas coincidências que estão acontecendo, que vem lá de trás, só tinha um objetivo: que o Vasco não alcançasse o objetivo que foi traçado. E o Vasco aconteceu e continuamos com o objetivo. Por isso eu coloquei no início: é contra tudo e contra todos, e rumo à Libertadores.

وبحسب صحيفة “ليكيب” الفرنسية فإن رودي جارسيا أصبح أبرز المرشحين لتولي تدريب أولمبيك ليون الفرنسي، خلال الفترة المُقبلة.

ويدعم من فكرة تواجد رودي جارسيا في تدريب ليون، رحيل المدير الرياضي للنادي، البرازيلي جونينيو، والذي توترت علاقته مع الفرنسي في الفترة الماضية حيث أكد الأخير أنه جونينيو كان يستهدف ضم أكبر عدد من اللاعبين البرازيليين لصفوف ليون، من أجل إنشاء حزب لأبناء بلده في النادي.

Everton struggled to find any consistency in their form in the first half of the season during 2021, and it seems their ill fate has followed them into the new year, as Rafa Benitez’s side put on another poor performance at Goodison Park this afternoon.

The Toffees conceded their ninth defeat in the Premier League this season, losing 3-2 to Graham Potter’s Brighton in front of the fans at home, with Anthony Gordon’s two goals not enough to gain even a single point out of the game.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin made his highly anticipated return to the starting lineup and made the headlines for all the wrong reasons with a missed penalty that hit the woodwork in the 25th minute.

Lucas Digne was still missing in the side, where Benitez decided to play a three at the back formation, with Seamus Coleman playing out of position in the left wing-back position which was a decision that didn’t pay off in the end.

In the 53rd minute the £120k-per-week midfielder bagged an assist, supplying Gordon with a swooping pass that resulted in a finished attempt in the back of the net for the 20-year-old forward.

However, one player who did manage to orchestrate a worthy performance for his team today was Brazilian midfielder Allan, who returned to the starting line up for the first time since Everton’s energetic win over Arsenal on the 6th of December, which also happens to be the last time they won a game.

According to SofaScore, Allan, who was hailed “vital” by pundit, Darren Fletcher last season, had the best pass accuracy overall in the midfield line today with 78%, whilst winning 71% of his duels during the 87 minutes played before he was subbed off for Andre Gomes.

One fan took to Twitter to praise his individual performance amongst a number of poor performances around him, calling for him to become captain;

Everton missed out on a home advantage opportunity to take three points from today’s game, and continue to sit in the bottom half of the Premier League table, the Spanish manager is in a position to strengthen the team by making new additions during the transfer window to revive the season and add fresh legs into the team.

A brain freeze from the Bangladesh lower order squandered the initiative that a 108-run seventh-wicket stand had secured them. With Bangladesh throwing away their last four wickets and falling behind by one run, India didn’t look the gift horse in the mouth and went on to extend that lead to 123 with nine wickets in hand.From 98 for 6, Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim had carried Bangladesh past 200 when common sense deserted them. Mushfiqur, who had survived an edgy period early on, threw it away by slog-sweeping an innocuous-looking Amit Mishra from wide outside off. No. 9 Shahadat Hossain came out swinging like the climax of a Western, as opposed to giving the strike to Mahmudullah, who was already past his maiden Test fifty by then.In the last over before tea, Shahadat chipped Mishra straight to cover. Back after the break, Mahmudullah smote the first ball for four, but when he lofted the fifth ball of the over over mid-on, he came back for two – any other settled batsman would have taken a single and seen out the whole of the next over. Sreesanth came back to end Raqibul Hasan’s resistance, who too played inside the line of a straight delivery, and edged.The seventh-wicket partnership stopped the procession of dismissals to outside edges and made India go wicketless for almost a full session, leading Bangladesh to a first-innings lead at the same time. Zaheer, the pick of the bowlers, struggled for support, with Sreesanth warned once for running on the pitch and over-stepping almost every second delivery. Mishra was not looking effective at all and Mahmudullah got stuck into him. Between them, Sreesanth and Mishra bowled 12 no-balls.The duo didn’t entirely abort the shots that had proved to be fatal for the earlier batsmen, but were slightly more sensible. They did get away with plays and misses to begin with, but when they chased the wide ones, soft hands meant the ball didn’t fly towards slips. In fact, the third man area leaked eight boundaries.The other big difference the two made was the running between the wickets. They ran hard, and they ran more often, which meant neither of the batsmen got stuck at one end for too long. Nineteen boundaries had been hit before the two came together and 14 came during their stand.As the stand grew bigger, the batsmen grew surer. Mahmudullah started targeting Mishra, driving him through the covers, lofting him over mid-on, and paddling him to alternate the strike. Nada de folga no feriado! Nesta quinta-feira, o Cruzeiro realizou um treino técnico na Toca da Raposa II e contou com duas novidades: os retornos do zagueiro Murilo e do atacante Alisson. Ambos realizaram a atividade normalmente e podem até ser escalados pelo técnico Mano Menezes para a partida contra o Atlético-PR, que acontece no próximo domingo, às 17h, no Mineirão.

Titular no empate em 2 a 2 com o Palmeiras, na última segunda-feira, Murilo deixou os gramados no início do segundo tempo sentindo dores no joelho esquerdo. Após a partida, o jogador passou por uma avaliação médica, mas nenhuma lesão foi constatada.

Alisson, que entrou em campo pela última vez no clássico diante do Atlético-MG, vem recebendo mais atenção do departamento médico e comissão técnica da Raposa, sendo frequentemente poupado por conta de desgaste muscular na coxa.

Apesar dos retornos, o zagueiro Digão, que substitui Murilo na partida contra o atual campeão brasileiro, ficou fora do treino desta quinta, devido a dores no joelho esquerdo. Sem mais trabalhos nesta quinta, a equipe volta à Toca da Raposa na tarde de sexta-feira. O último treino será realizado no sábado de manhã.
